Collection: Document Wallets

Document wallets and expanding files give you more capacity than a single pocket folder, ideal for sets of papers too bulky for a quotation folder but not yet ready for permanent filing. Welkom Business Machines stocks document wallets from Bantex, Meeco, Croxley and Topteam, including expanding files with up to 19 internal divisions.

A document wallet is a simple, flat pocket that holds a stack of loose papers together, while an expanding file goes a step further with internal dividers, useful when you need to sort papers into categories within the same carrier — by month, by client, or by document type — without committing to a full lever arch filing system.

How many divisions do you need? A small concertina file with 12 to 13 dividers suits personal or small-team document sorting, like household paperwork or a single project's files. Larger expanding files, like the Bantex 19-pocket range, are built for higher-volume sorting — useful for accounts departments separating invoices by supplier, or admin staff managing a large set of active client files.

Document wallets work well as an intermediate step between active paperwork and permanent filing — keep documents in a wallet while they're being actioned, then move them into a lever arch file with dividers once they're ready for long-term storage. For quick single-document handovers, our quotation folders are the simpler option.

Available in-store in Welkom and for delivery across South Africa. If you're setting up a new filing system and aren't sure how many divisions you need, our team can advise based on your document volume.
